Fruit Bowl Volunteers
Keele St. P.S. keeps a fruit bowl in the front office for students to help themselves to in case they forget their lunch or need an extra snack. Any student, for whatever reason, may help themselves! It's a very popular initiative at the school. We love offering it to our students and it's very well-received.
Keele has a wonderful new snack program for this year, but there has always been strong demand for our fruit bowl, so we have decided to continue it. If we find that it is not being used as much alongside the new snack program, we will make adjustments.
You can volunteer to purchase and bring in fruit for the school to keep the fruit bowl going!
Please click on the link to the Google doc below to sign up to bring in fruit for one (or more!) weeks during the school year.*

Thank you to all who volunteer to help bring in fresh food for those who need it!
*Please bring in a variety of apples, clementines and bananas at the beginning of the week (Monday morning). Apples, clementines and bananas are most popular. In the past, volunteers could expect to refill the bowl during the week depending on demand. This may or may not be the case now. Penny, our fruit bowl coordinator, will be in touch with you if the bowl needs a mid-week refill.
