Pizza Days - Sign up by Thurs Oct 10th!

  Pizza days are back at Keele St. P.S. for 2024-2025! Save yourself from lunch making by supporting this delicious fundraising initiative! There will be 9 pizza days from October – June. Children will receive 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza (from Pizza Pizza) delivered to their classroom during lunch hour. Mark your calendars with these important dates: Fri October 25 Fri November 22 Fri December 20 Fri January 31 Fri February 28 Fri March 28 Fri April 25 Fri May 23 Fri June 13 Refunds will not be given for meals missed due to absence, vacation, or illness.   The deadline to sign up and pay for pizza days is Thursday October 10, 2024 .  The  cost for all 9 pizza days is $ 45. If your child requires a special order due to an allergy (e.g. lactose, gluten), please email us at keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com and we can determine whether we can accommodate their need. Fun Fair - Sat Sept 28th from 11am to 3pm

The Keele Street PS annual Fun Fair is on!  Saturday September 28th from 11AM - 3PM   Everyone’s favourite fall event is back at Keele! Bouncy Castles , g ames for young and old, an obstacle course for the wild at heart, basket raffle with fantastic items, balloon animals, face painting , a fire truck visit , and so much more.  Come hungry! The BBQ will be fired up, with lots of meat and vegetarian options for everyone, plus c otton candy , a b ake sale , and a c ake walk! Rain or shine! Community Alert: Take Action to Keep Lucas Petrini Off the Streets

Over the past week, our community has been shaken by the attempted abductions in our neighbourhood. Parents lost sleep. Many stayed home from work to personally walk their children to and from school. Phones buzzed through the night with messages of concern, waking families up to one of a parent’s worst nightmares.  We, the co-chairs, have taken action by sending  this Letter to our MP, Premier, MPP, Mayor, and Councillor , making it clear that Lucas Petrini must not be released into our community—or any community—again. His hearing is set for March 12th so we need as much pressure on officials as possible to ensure he isn't our released on bail and our voices are heard.  We encourage you to take a moment to write to your local representatives demanding that steps be taken to protect our children and neighborhoods.
