Get Involved

There are so many ways to get involved at Keele and with Parent Council!

1) Come to a Council meeting. 

Coming to a Council meeting is a great way to get a sense of our work. 

Our first meeting for the 2026-2027 school year is Tuesday, September 29th at 6:30 in the library. We will set future meeting dates at that meeting. 


2) Get on the volunteer list

We need support running Council events, and we also support Keele staff with volunteers for school-run events. You do not need to make a specific commitment, just email keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com to be added to our list, and we'll email you as opportunities come up!   

Note that many opportunities in the school require a Vulnerable Sector Check (Police) check. Our guide to doing so is here. 

3) Propose an event or initiative

We're always looking for new initiatives and opportunities for Keele St. P.S. to create special memories for our students, enhance the curriculum, and raise funds to support our students. If you have any ideas for initiatives you'd like to see and run at Keele, please reach out to us (keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com), and we can discuss how to help you get the ball rolling!

Donate Here to Help Raise Funds for the Keele School Library!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 Our goal is to completely transform our school library into a warm, inclusive, and inspiring space where every student feels welcome and empowered to learn. We are running this campaign from Fri May 30 to Fri June 13 to see how much our amazing community can raise in that time! For donations over $20, a tax receipt will be issued! Pizza Days - Sign up by Fri Oct 3rd!

Pizza days are back at Keele St. P.S. for 2025-2026! Save yourself from lunch making by supporting this delicious fundraising initiative! Sign up for the first 9 pizza days from October – Feb. Children will receive 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza (from Pizza Pizza) delivered to their classroom during lunch hour. Mark your calendars with these important dates: Fri October 17 Fri October 31 Thurs November 13 Fri November 28 Fri December 12 Thurs January 15 Fri January 30 Thurs February 12 Fri February 27 Refunds will not be given for meals missed due to absence, vacation, or illness.   The deadline to sign up and pay for pizza days is Friday October 3, 2025 .  The  cost for all 9 pizza days is $ 45.
