Donate to Our Food Drive - Dec 9th to 19th

Keele St PS is hosting a food drive for an organization that supports families in our local community. 

Please send non-perishable food items with your child from Monday December 9th to Thursday December 19th to donate. 

The organization we're donating to has asked for a variety of non-perishable food items, but specifically need:
  • White rice
  • Crackers and other salty snacks
  • Pasta
  • Diapers (sizes 3-6)
  • No Frills or FreshCo gift cards
  • Personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream)
You can bring items to your child's teacher.

If you would like to donate via cash or etransfer, we can use your funds to purchase No Frills or FreshCo gift cards for local families. You can send cash to school with your student or etransfer to keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com (please write "food drive donation" in the notes section). 

The food will be picked up by the organization on Thursday December 19th and taken directly to their food bank for distribution. If you would like to send perishables (e.g. bread, milk, etc.), you can do so but only on that last day (Thurs Dec 19th).

Fun Fair - Sat Sept 28th from 11am to 3pm

The Keele Street PS annual Fun Fair is on!  Saturday September 28th from 11AM - 3PM   Everyone’s favourite fall event is back at Keele! Bouncy Castles , g ames for young and old, an obstacle course for the wild at heart, basket raffle with fantastic items, balloon animals, face painting , a fire truck visit , and so much more.  Come hungry! The BBQ will be fired up, with lots of meat and vegetarian options for everyone, plus c otton candy , a b ake sale , and a c ake walk! Rain or shine!
