Food Drive - Thurs Dec 7 to Thurs Dec 14

This holiday season, more people than ever are relying on food banks, and food banks are facing more than a 75% increase in demand since 2019.

Keele St PS is hosting a food drive for a local food bank that supports families and refugees in our community. 

Please send non-perishable food items with your child from Thursday December 7th to Thursday December 14th to donate. 

The organization we're donating to has asked for a variety of non-perishable food items, but specifically need:
  • White rice
  • Kidney beans
  • Diapers (sizes 3-6)
  • Baby wipes
  • No Frills or FreshCo gift cards
If you would like to donate via cash or etransfer, we can use your funds to purchase No Frills or FreshCo gift cards for local families. You can send cash to school with your student or etransfer to keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com (please write "food drive donation" in the notes section). 

The food will be picked up by the organization on Thursday December 14th and taken directly to their food bank for distribution. If you would like to send perishables (e.g. bread, milk, etc.), you can do so but only on that last day (Thurs Dec 14th).

Our goal is to raise $30,000 Our goal is to completely transform our school library into a warm, inclusive, and inspiring space where every student feels welcome and empowered to learn. Keele Movie Night - Thurs June 5th! - 3:30-5:30pm

We are excited to be hosting our first   movie night   since installing our incredible new screen and AV equipment! We’ll be showing  The Super Mario Bros.  Movie  for our students.  Doors open at 3:30 PM and   the  movie  will begin at 4:00 PM .   Pick-up is at 5:30 PM in the kindergarten yard.   Parents or guardians are welcome to join! If parents are not joining, students should be comfortable participating in a group setting and able to follow basic expectations, so everyone can have a fun and safe experience. The cost is  $5 per student , which includes admission and a bag of popcorn. Additional concessions such as drinks, chips, pizza, and candy will be available for purchase.
