Halloween Costume and Winter Gear Swap - Oct 17 to 19

Keele St. P.S. will be doing a Halloween Costume and Winter Gear swap! The goal of this swap is to ensure that all students at Keele St. P.S. have a Halloween costume and warm outdoor winter gear for the cold months that are approaching...all for FREE! 

From now to Monday October 16, there will be bins outside of the office for you to drop off your clean, gently used, in all sizes (infant to adult):

  • Halloween costumes
  • Warm winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves
Please ensure your Halloween costumes go in the "Halloween" bin, and your warm winter gear goes in the "Winter Gear" bin. Note: We will not accept any winter clothing/gear that is not listed above. 

From Tuesday October 17 to Thursday October 19, you can come to tables set up at the corner of Keele St. and Glenlake Ave. either in the morning (8:15-9:00am) or after school (3:10-3:45pm) to pick up a Halloween costume or warm winter gear for FREE! 

We ask families to take only one Halloween costume per child to ensure there are enough costumes for everyone. After school on Thursday Oct 19, families are welcome to take anything (e.g. more than one costume per child) that is left from the swap. Whatever is leftover will be donated. If it is raining or snowing, the pick-up date may be moved. 

We also need volunteers to work the collect items from the office and work at the tables. If you are able to help out, please sign up for a shift using this Google doc: Halloween Costume and Clothing Swap Volunteer List

Fun Fair - Sat Sept 28th from 11am to 3pm

The Keele Street PS annual Fun Fair is on!  Saturday September 28th from 11AM - 3PM   Everyone’s favourite fall event is back at Keele! Bouncy Castles , g ames for young and old, an obstacle course for the wild at heart, basket raffle with fantastic items, balloon animals, face painting , a fire truck visit , and so much more.  Come hungry!
