Welcome Back!

Welcome to a new school year at Keele Street Public School! 

We're excited for another great year together. The first day of school is Wed Sept 7th, 2022. 

School hours this year are:

Kindergarten: 8:50am to 3:20pm 
Grades 1-6: 8:50am to 3:25pm
Grades 7-8: 8:50am to 3:10pm
Lunch: 11:35am to 12:40pm

We're excited to hear from YOU about what sorts of events and initiatives you'd like to see and be a part of to strengthen connections, community, and student success at Keele Street P.S. Keep an eye out for opportunities to connect with us in person and virtually during the month of September!

To start, Keele's School Advisory Council (made up of Keele families and community members) is planning on conducting the following events: 

  • Pizza days
  • Fun Fair
  • Halloween Costume Fundraiser
  • Winter Gear Swap
  • Monthly school advisory meetings held in-person in the library and over Zoom (last Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8pm)

This website will be updated regularly with meeting and event dates, calls for volunteers, and other important communications. Please bookmark this website and check it regularly!

  Pizza days are back at Keele St. P.S. for 2024-2025! Save yourself from lunch making by supporting this delicious fundraising initiative! There will be 9 pizza days from October – June. Children will receive 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza (from Pizza Pizza) delivered to their classroom during lunch hour. Our goal is to raise $30,000 Our goal is to completely transform our school library into a warm, inclusive, and inspiring space where every student feels welcome and empowered to learn. We are running this campaign from Fri May 30 to Fri June 13 to see how much our amazing community can raise in that time! For donations over $20, a tax receipt will be issued! Fun Fair - Sat Sept 28th from 11am to 3pm

The Keele Street PS annual Fun Fair is on!  Saturday September 28th from 11AM - 3PM   Everyone’s favourite fall event is back at Keele! Bouncy Castles , g ames for young and old, an obstacle course for the wild at heart, basket raffle with fantastic items, balloon animals, face painting , a fire truck visit , and so much more.  Come hungry! The BBQ will be fired up, with lots of meat and vegetarian options for everyone, plus c otton candy , a b ake sale , and a c ake walk! Rain or shine!
