Thurs June 30th - Keele Pride Celebration

It's time to get out our rainbow gear, signs and flags, and dancing shoes to celebrate the 2SLGBTQ+ community!

Thursday June 30th from 10:55 - 11:35am our school-wide Pride celebration is taking place in three parts on the school track: a parade, school photo, and dance. 

Parents and guardians are welcome to gather outside the school fence to join the party from the sidewalk!

As part of our celebration, we are inviting students from each grade to wear a particular colour. If your child doesn't have clothing in their assigned colour, please do not worry. Your child is welcome to affix a piece of coloured paper to their shirt, to make a sign in that colour to hold up during the parade, or to wear any rainbow gear they'd like! 

At the end of the parade, we'll gather all the students together and take a human Pride flag photo!

Here are the suggested colours for each Grade:

JK/SK: Red

Gr 1: Orange

Gr 2: Yellow

Gr 3 & 4: Green

Gr 5 & 6: Blue

Gr 7 & 8: Purple

Following the parade and photo, we'll have a Pride dance for the students and staff on the field.

At 11:35 am, our celebration will conclude and lunch will begin.

Fun Fair - Sat Sept 27th from 11am to 3pm

  The Keele Street PS annual Fun Fair is on!  Saturday September 27th from 11AM - 3PM   Everyone’s favourite fall event is back at Keele! Bouncy Castles , g ames for young and old, an obstacle course for the wild at heart, basket raffle with fantastic items, face painting , a fire truck visit , and so much more.  Come hungry!
