Pizza Days - March to June 2026 - Sign Up - Drop cash or etransfer

Pizza days are continuing for spring 2026! Children will receive 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza (from Pizza Pizza) delivered to their classroom during lunch hour. Mark your calendars with these important dates: Fri March 13 Fri March 27 Fri April 10 Fri April 24 Fri May 8 Fri May 22 Thurs June 4 Fri June 12 Refunds will not be given for meals missed due to absence, vacation, or illness.   The deadline to sign up and pay for pizza days is FRIDAY MARCH 6th! The  cost for all 8 pizza days is $ 40. If your child requires a special order due to an allergy (e.g. lactose, gluten), please email us at keeleadvisorycouncil@gmail.com and we can determine whether we can accommodate their need. Note that cheese pizza will be the only option available to students in Kindergarten. How to Get a Police Reference Check to Volunteer

All TDSB volunteers are required to complete a  Police  Reference  Check . You need a Police Reference Check to: Go on a field trip Volunteer in the classroom Help out with Parent Council events (pizza days, bake sales, etc.) If You Have Previously Submitted a Police Reference Check to a TDSB School If you have completed a Police Reference Check in previous years and submitted it to the school office (either as a hard copy or by email), you do NOT need to complete a new Police Reference Check. Instead, you must complete the:  " 2025-2026 Annual Offense Declaration Form " This form confirms that you have not had any convictions since your last Police Reference Check. Parent Council Meeting - Wed Feb 25 - 6:30-8pm

We will be having a Parent School Advisory Council meeting on Wed Feb 25th from 6:30-8pm in the school library or via Zoom ( https://utoronto.zoom.us/j/ 86793796671 ) . Babysitting and snacks are provided for the in-person meetings.  At our meetings we always hear updates from the principal, VP and staff, and discuss matters related to the school (e.g., events, fundraising, spending funds, safety, school improvement efforts, etc.) Meetings are a fun way to get involved and meet new people! Please join if you are able to participate!

Winter Concert - Pizza, Popcorn and Bake Sale - Wed Dec 10 5:30-6:30pm

We are so excited for the Winter Showcase that is happening on Wed Dec 10th from 5:30-6:30pm. Come cheer on our students—and skip making dinner! We’ll be serving up  pizza, popcorn, snacks, and sweet treats  in the  Library from 4:30–7:00 PM .  Cash, credit and debit will be accepted. Pizza - $3/slice or 2 for $5 Popcorn - $2/bag Drinks - $1 to $3 Baked Goods - $1 to $3 We need baked goods! Please drop off baked goods to the library starting at 3:30pm. If you need to drop items earlier, you can bring them to the office. You can also just bring your items when you come that evening for the concert.  If you are able to volunteer you will get seats saved in the first row! It's also a super fun way to help out at the school. Please sign up   here   to help out . 

Keele Holiday Pop-up Shop on Tues Dec 16th - Donate Items Until Dec 10th

We're so excited to bring our Holiday Pop-up Shop back to Keele this year.  Starting now you can donate your new or gently used items that aren't getting the attention they deserve to the  Keele Holiday Pop-up Shop . Students will get the chance to buy the items for 25 cents to give to their friends and family over the holidays. It's a great way to reuse and recycle items you aren't using, and for the students to experience how it can feel better to give rather than receive.  We ask for the following new or gently used items to be donated (donation bin is set-up outside of the office until Wednesday December 10th):  Books,  jewelry , candles, scarves, note cards, tea towels, decorative items, picture frames, magnets, accessories, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, toys, ornaments, mugs, and more!  The pop-up shop will be held on  Tuesday December 16th  in the school library.
